itself, at a fraction of the cost of traditional 2 piece HMI light units,

color temperature for the life
(7000 hour rated) of the bulb.
Plus built in ballasts eliminate extra cables and clutter of
separate ballast boxes. We
offer 10 Softbox sizes plus capability with Chimera, Westcott and Photoflex
softboxes. Compatible with All Digital Cameras
(Nikon Canon Fujifilm Panasonic Sony Olympus Kodak Pentax
HP etc.)
High powered
(2400 or 800 watt tungsten equivalent) cool light heads
with
patented light bulb technology provide highly energy efficient,
cool running and silent power with over 5
times more light output per watt than quartz halogen or
incandescent lights. These daylight balanced HMI HID CDM lights
can mix
with natural daylight without a blue color gel or expensive
diachronic filter over your light. And with digital
cameras or DV cams, your white is white without the amber tint.
Output is
daylight 5200k and mixes great with ambient daylight without the
need for conversion gels.
Plus, photographers can mix these HMI HID lights with your with
electronic flash as the color temperature is the same.

The SuperBright
2400 is power adjustable 1/3, 2/3 and full and puts out a tungsten
equivalent of 2400 watts Lighting Power while being a big Energy
Star using only 450 watts! Numerous softbox sizes and shapes are
available as well as 8 and 16 inch reflectors with optional
barndoors and grids.
The HMI Bulb is a
double envelope white frosted Metal Halide bulb with a color
temperature of about 5200K and a life of near 7000 hours. The
white glass frosting (not a cheaper coated version) will not wear
off the bulb or discolor. Therefore the light emitted from the
bulb is softer than cheaper uncoated HMI HID bulbs that produce a
harder, harsher light output.
